Mobile Home Park

A manufactured home park is defined as any tract of land on which three or more manufactured homes used for habitation are parked. It does not include any tract of land used solely for the purpose of storing or displaying manufactured homes.

The Division’s Public Health Sanitarians inspect such parks at minimum annually. Upon inspection the Sanitarian makes certain that homes are spaced properly, drainage and flooding issues are remedied, sewage and waste disposal issues are addressed, pests are controlled and general maintenance is in check.

These inspections are prescribed in 3701-27 of the Ohio Administrative Code and Section 3733 of the Ohio Revised Code.
