Monkeypox (MPOX) is a viral illness that typically can cause flu-like illness and swelling of the lymph nodes and progresses to a rash on the face and body. Most infections last 2-4 weeks. It typically takes between 1-2 weeks after exposure to exhibit symptoms from the MPOX virus, but it could take as long as 3 weeks. If you are experiencing symptoms or have concerns, please contact your primary care provider.
